Our team at your service
Our team consists of five developers who are dedicated to expanding and further developing the platform as well as providing customer service. Our two managing directors, Niels Bock and Prof. Karsten Menzel, bring many years of experience in the telecommunications industry and expert knowledge in calculating electromagnetic fields to bear while combining their respective areas of expertise.
Our story
Based on our established platform for site management and many years of experience, we have realised a decisive step towards the integrated planning of mobile phone sites: the addition of the calculation of electromagnetic fields. This function provides public mobile network operators with efficient support in the approval process and ensures reliable compliance with legal requirements. The modular architecture enables seamless integration into existing planning processes, automated data processing and simulation-based optimisation of sites, taking into account technical, regulatory and environmental framework conditions.
Our origin
Field.fx is a development of the STF Group, which has been offering innovative engineering services since 1997. With its origins in the telecommunications industry, the portfolio now includes the service fields of telecommunications, digitalisation, IT and specialist planning of technical building equipment and supports projects in SMEs, municipalities and large companies. In 2023, Field.fx GmbH was founded as an independent company in collaboration with Dr Karsten Menzel. Since then, the development of our solution has been consistently driven forward - with the aim of also supporting international customers in the future-proof planning and approval of their mobile communications infrastructure.
Dr. Karsten Menzel
Dr. Karsten Menzel is a physicist who contributes his unmatched expertise to the development of the tools at Field.fx. Karsten Menzel is the go-to person for any technical question or challenge.
Niels Bock
Niels Bock, Managing Director of the STF Group, is in charge of the overall strategic concept and lends the expertise of the STF Group. The tools are further developed by the R&D department of the STF Group, which draws on its proficiency gained from many of STF’s own projects.
